What a truly magical photo shoot this was!
The Brief
The brief was to create a fairy tale wedding setting which was guaranteed to take your breath away … and it did just that and more! We are still dreaming of this shoot and everyone who saw it was absolutely captivated.
The beautifully soft colour palette of creams, blush and gold gave a delicate but luxurious feel to the room. The opulent, sumptuous flowers were such a wow factor and their magnificent fragrance drenched the room. Set on elegant crystal stands and reaching 7 foot high, 10 of them lined the wonderful white carpet aisle. Who wouldn’t want to walk down that aisle?
And oh so many candles!
What felt like hundreds of them … floating candles, contrasting pretty tea lights, crystal candelabras and single candle stands added the extra magic to the setting.
Chair dressing
Chair dressing was one single but huge silk flower gardenia for the ceremony and then draped silk chair ties in a beautiful blush colour for the wedding breakfast set up.
Gold and crystal chargers, glamorous crystal glassware and antique bronzed cutlery added yet more luxury and glamour to the room.
The ambience
The elegant leaded windows, stunning chandeliers, period fireplace and simple elegant decor of the Main Hall made the perfect backdrop to this wedding of dreams.
And they lived happily ever after.
